On an unforgettable tour of the Amazon, we fell in love with the beauty of the world's largest eco system. We built friendship and we learned from our tour guide Magno the dangers the rainforest faces. We decided right then we needed to act.

Our first fundraise on gofundme raised $3760. We added additional funds to help Magno purchase a 123- acre plot of primary Amazon forest that he will preserve for eco friendly tourism only. He has since worked hard to install solar on the land.

As soon as we returned to the US, we are getting family, friends and neighbors involved to help Magno build his preservation business. We turned on our entrepreneurial brains and started a series of efforts that would both be educational for the American youth and be helpful for the Amazon forest.
